Following graduation, Abby will be pursuing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, specializing in pediatrics. Abby is a Program Chair for the Active Minds Club chapter at W&L and works as a Rehab Aide at a local hospital. Caroline is a member of the varsity swim team and enjoys participating in the mentor program at Fairfield Elementary. Hal is the president of the Active Minds chapter at W&L and enjoys giving back to the community by coaching tennis to children in the Rockbridge area. He was been a member of the lab since the fall of his Sophomore year. Hal Fant, '22 - Hal is a senior from Columbia, South Carolina pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. She oversees the Gender Psych lab and all of its research projects. Her research interests include the social and emotional development of children, children’s gender-role acquisition and understanding, individual differences in children’s gender-role flexibility, and development in the context of traditional and non-traditional families.
Megan Fulcher is a professor of Psychology at Washington and Lee University. We are a developmental research group that is interested in gender role development and stereotypes and, specifically, how the toys children play with might impact how children develop their own gender identities.ĭr.
